Ways to Support ECDC
As a not-for-profit early childhood education center, parent paid tuition covers the cost of salaries, insurance, food…in other words, operating costs. ECDC relies on fundraising efforts to raise money for classroom supplies and the “extras” that make ECDC a high-quality program. We have a variety of ways you can support ECDC throughout the year.

Support ECDC This Holiday Shopping Season
Did you know that you can help ECDC raise money while you shop this holiday season? In addition to gift card sales, ECDC participates in the RaiseRight app, where a percentage of your purchases can go directly to support ECDC’s programs! As a parent representative on the board, I am embarrassed to admit that I only just realized how to do this effectively, so I wanted to share my experience with you.
I buy a new pair of cozy slippers from L.L.Bean every few years. This year, I decided to look up L.L.Bean on the RaiseRight app and found that ECDC earns 19% from the purchase of L.L.Bean gift cards! My slippers cost about $60, so I went ahead and purchased an eGift card through RaiseRight to cover the cost of my purchase and I was able to use the digital gift card immediately on the L.L.Bean website. With this one simple step, ECDC earned more than $10 without anyone spending any extra money- win-win! I’ve also done this before placing an online order for pickup at Carrabba’s (which gives back 14%)!
