Next Steps for Enrolled Families – Families that have received an enrollment confirmation letter.

If you registered your child for an ECDC program and received an enrollment confirmation email, please review the following information. We are pleased that your family is a part of the ECDC School Family!

Enrollment Forms

Enrollment Forms are updated annually. Please complete and submit the enrollment forms packet(s) by the due date for the program(s) your child is enrolled in. A child cannot begin the ECDC program unless all of the required forms have been completed and are on file in the ECDC office. Parents will receive an email and enrollment forms packets will be available one month prior to the due date.

*A “current” child is one who is enrolled in the current school year program.

Please review the ECDC Family Handbook prior to submitting your enrollment forms.

If you have questions about enrollment forms, please contact Maria Kil at ECDC-ND (mkilecdc@gmail.com or 574-631-3344) or Liz Betson at ECDC-SMC (ebetson@saintmarys.edu or 574-284-4693).

Special Diets Due to Allergies – Should your child have food allergies that require food limitations or substitutions for your child’s snacks or meals, please contact Jennifer Wray at ECDC-SMC: 574-284-4693 or Tammi Kunz at ECDC-ND: 574-631-3344.

Medication – Per licensing regulations, ECDC can only administer prescription medication or over the counter medication with a doctor’s order including your child’s name, dosage amount and administration time/frequency. All medicines must be signed in by the parent and left with the ECDC office staff. Any questions, please talk with the ECDC office staff and they will be happy to help you.

Kindergarten Deposit

Once enrollment in the kindergarten classroom is confirmed, a nonrefundable deposit of two weeks tuition is required by May 1st to hold your child’s kindergarten spot. You will receive a bill in early April for this amount. This deposit will be applied to your school year kindergarten tuition. Preschool enrollment does not require a deposit.

Tuition

For current tuition rates, activity fees, ECDC’s tuition policy, and ways to pay, click here to visit the tuition page. Tuition rates remain the same through the summer program.  School Year tuition rates are released in early July. Families will receive an email once the new rates are available.

Families will receive a summer tuition statement in late May and a fall semester school year tuition statement in mid-August. If you have questions about your tuition statement or payment options, please contact Michele Layher, ECDC Finance Director, at michele.layher@gmail.com.

Meet the Teachers

Families are invited to sign up for a “new school year visit” in August to see their child’s new classroom and meet the teachers. Summer families and families joining the school year after the program has begun, please call the ECDC office to schedule a visit for your child. Our hope is that all new to ECDC children will have a visit prior to their first day of enrollment. You can learn more about the ECDC teachers and program staff in the following documents.
